Two Greeks in the starting line up for Cardiff as many as English and Irish? Yes and they deserve it!
Among the line up of Cardiff, an eager fan can notice two Greeks. With time, changes and additions are made, but Dimitris Goutas and Manolis Siopis are there. And just like that, at the end of Saturday’s meeting, Greece has the same number of representatives on the field, as England, Ireland and Wales! Two each comparing, of course, to those who started in Errol Bulut's original formation..

With the victory against Sheffield, Wednesday, the Welsh reached four points after four matches, rising to 17th place in the Championship.
Manolis Siopis and Dimitris Goutas the Greek contingent at the Welsh capital are rewriting the books as for the first time after two years, they co-existed in a starting line-up, being the only Greeks who are in the starting lineup in a league match for Cardiff.
Beyond that, however, the fact that neither of them was replaced is making it a bit special. Both played 90 minutes, with the head coach Errol Bulut showing that he supports them to a great extent, considering them necessary for the project he is already building.
Somehow, Cardiff started with two Greeks in their starting line-up, alongside three Englishmen, two Irishmen, one from Canada. Nigeria, Ivory Coast and the Welshman Aaron Ramsey.
With the same number of Greeks, English and Irish, as oxymoronic as it sounds. Goutas and Siopis proved for one more game to the fans o Cardiff that they can be vital!
And the team can start looking upwards.
