EURO 2028: Football is (definitely) coming home!

The greatest hour for the British is expected to come in five years. But for now, everyone is looking forward to Tuesday. Why; Because in one week from now, the announcement of the location where EURO 2028 will take place is expected to be made official, with Turkey officially withdrawing from the competition.

In practice, this means that Britain is now "playing" alone, with the direct consequence that England, Scotland, Ireland (Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland) and Wales will be the countries that will host the big tournament.

This is the first time we will have... a British EURO, as yes in 1996, the institution was held in England and in 1966 something similar happened with the World Cup, but now, the whole part of Britain will be satisfied.

Of course, we remind you that in the previous EURO matches were held in Scotland, at the time when England played at Wembley, while in Ireland we had no matches, even though this was initially announced, due to covid-19.

But now, the division of the matches will be across the whole of Britain and thus, the first British EURO in history, is closer than ever. You understand of course how great the desire of the English will be for this tournament, without of course having seen their deeds in the upcoming event, which they want more than ever to bring home!

But until then, we are sure of one thing. Because football... is finally coming home and all of Britain can be happy!
