Tottenham brings up the come-back mode, when opponent scores first!

If the purpose of our life is to make mistakes, learn from them and always getting better, then Tottenham do that very well with the mentality they have acquired under Angelos Postecoglou. The team might have conceded again first for one more game, but came back from a losing position for the 5th time this season with a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Tottenham brings up the come-back mode, when opponent scores first!

Oliver Glasner's side have the highest negative performance in this season's Premier League with the most goals conceded in the last 15 minutes of the games.

And that, played a part in how Tottenham pulled off the come-back win on Saturday afternoon. Timo Werner's first goal in the "spurs" jersey, as well as the goals from Romero and Son, led Postecoglou's team to the result within 11 minutes (77' - 88').

This is yet another of the great come-back wins Tottenham have gained this year and 4/5 have been achieved with the help of their home crowd at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The first one was the only one that has been recorded away from home. In just the 4th minute, Burnley had taken the lead with Foster at matchweek 4 in current season, only to be followed by a flurry of goals from the "spurs". From 16' to 66' they scored five goals to prevail with the final 5-2.

In the very next game, there was a new outbreak, but in a thriller finale. Sheffield United came close to make a huge surprise in London with Hamer's goal in the 73rd minute, but Richarlison and Kulusevski in the 8th and 10th minutes of stoppage time turned it all around for 2-1!

We reached the end of January for a new upset to come, again at home, against Brentford. The "bees" with Maupey surprised the home fans at the 15th minute, but in the second half everything changed very quickly. Three goals again in the space of 8', with Udogi, Johnson and Richarlison from 48' to 56' were enough for restoring order. There was tension when Toney in the 67th minute reduced the score out of nowhere, but the final was 3-2 for the spurs.

The match against Brighton in the capital also required a special effort. The "seagulls" with Pascal Gros hitting from the penalty spot gave the visitors the advantage from the 17th minute. Pape Sarr in the 61st minute had leveled the game, but it took a lot of patience for Tottenham's winning goal. This came at 90' + 6' from Son's fine assist to Brennan Johnson for the final 2-1.

On the 2nd of March, came the 3-1 win over Palace. Eze with an amazing free kick had put the "eagles" in front in the 59th minute, however, the great weakness of Glasner's team appeared again. And Tottenham did not leave it unexploited. Three goals in 11' and the final whistle had celebrations and three points with the 3-1 result.
