Let's all admire Jamie Vardy, like a fine, old wine!
We really wanted to see him back in the top flight. When he signed his new contract with Leicester, we all celebrated. And now, he proved already from the 1st week, that everything is different with him. Jamie Vardy makes the Premier League much more "tasty" and it is this ... good old wine that gets us drunk. He just does it with his goals, after his 30 years!

In the first half, he had just 10 touches with the ball. Lester was dysfunctional and a cause for concern. The mission was not to concede more goals than the one scored by Pedro Porro.
Things changed in the second half. And early on, Vardy equalized with a header and broke through. And a little later he found himself in a scoring position, but luck was not on his side. Again, though, the glory was all his.
He gave the point to Cooper's "foxes", scored in the first game of the new season, stung the Tottenham fans with the 2016 championship, messed with his rivals and drank his soft drink at the break!
He's now on 104 Premier League goals in the 30+ age bracket. The next highest scorer in his 4th decade was Ian Wright with 93! Then Alan Shearer who had 84 and 82 managed to put by Frank Lampard.
Looking forward to Vardy's next... parties in the top flight.
